Gina Gregorio is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Fashion Department & Textile Minor. She is invested in advancing sustainability goals within the field of Textile Design through the creation of the Textile Dye Garden and throughout her teaching practice.
Isa Rodrigues is a textile artist and educator currently based in Brooklyn, New York and Lagos, Portugal. Isa joined the garden team in 2020 as a Natural Dye consultant, working closely with the Dean, Facilities, Faculty and Students to plan and support the garden.
Erin Benard is a senior Printmaking major and double minor in Textiles and Art and Design Education. Her main practice involves working with recycled materials in order to create textile prints for new use.
Harshita Sharma is a first year graduate student at Pratt's Ms Packaging, Identities and System design program, she is interested in creating universally accessible design solutions with a commitment to sustainability. Aspiring to be able to create packaging that is 'Made to be Made again"
Ife Oluwamuyide is a senior Printmaking major with a double minor in Art and Design Education and History of Art and Design. Her practice involves creating pattern-based work with dyes. She is interested in delving deeper into the world of natural dyeing.
Annie McWilliams is a senior Fashion Design major. She uses natural dyes often as most of her work is textile based and is inspired by nature.
Pearl Wood is a sophomore majoring in Film. She is inspired by the natural world and is interested in the intersection between filmmaking and the environment. She has an appreciation for hands-on work and crafts using natural materials, and finds joy in the Textile Dye Garden as a place of learning and community.
Griselda Pena Candelario
Griselda is a sophomore at Pratt majoring in Fashion Design and minoring in Textiles. She is from North Carolina and enjoys using natural materials in her work. She enjoys learning about the process that goes into making materials, and wants to incorporate more sustainable practices into her design and materials.
Saltie is an emotional support animal and canine representative for the Textile Dye Garden. She is the lead technician in the grass-eating department and Assistant Director of pats and scritches.
